Trying out that loose curls using a sock trick that’s all over the web.
I’ll let you know if it works out! xx
(P.S. Here’s the link since I’ve had a few people ask. (: )
Anonymous asked: Hi Natalie! I have a favor to ask you! I'm trying to find a cute prom dress and I found a style that I wanted, (Windsor, Blessing- Navy Prom Dress), and the dress looked absolutely fabulous and flattered my figure and didn't make my shoulders look broad. The only thing was that I just feel like I could find a better dress. Any suggestions? I hate rhinestones and the reason that I loved that dress because its so simple and not bright. Thanks for all your help! xoxo
Hiya! I haven’t done these in a while!
I just had a short break from doing homework so I figured I’d give this a shot. (:
I wasn’t sure what your price range was so I tried to stay around the same amount of the dress you mentioned. I also stayed in the navy color, though I’m sure from these examples if you wanted a differently color you could find something like it!

1. Betsy & Adam Rosette Trim One Shoulder Mesh Gown $158
I love this because it’s very similar to the one you sent me, but a bit darker, and makes uses of pretty rosettes along the strap making it a bit more romantic.

2. Lovely Evening Dress by MM Couture $75.99
I don’t know if you had a preference to long or short, but I thought this was ultra cute. I know as a petite girl my self it wasn’t till recently that I realized I could wear long dresses so I rocked the mini dress at every formal event. I love the draping and the one shoulder, so pretty!

3. JS Boutique Draped Jersey Gown $138
I love love love the ‘sleeves’ on this. The front and back are gorgeous. You’d look like a Greek Goddess!

4. JS Collections Beaded Mesh Gown $198
I know you said you hate rhinestones buuuut, the cut of this is ultra beautiful and there isn’t too much rhinestones! Plus it means you can focus on getting some sparkly earrings and making them the standout piece!
Good luck and I hope you have a blast! xx
Anonymous asked: random question, but i hope it doesn't sound lame. ok so i know that you work, go to school and have a boyfriend (correct me if i'm wrong) how do you juggle it all?
It’s really hard, honestly, but worth it. I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve had nervous breakdowns and been extremely overwhelmed. I’m extremely fortunate that I love my classes (well… most of them!), though my work can be stressful and drive me crazy I genuinely enjoy working in my office, and lastly that I have a really understanding and patient boyfriend.
I usually set rules for myself such as: if I finish all my homework I can spend the day with my boyfriend. I’m lucky in that for my job I make my own schedule, and I have off weekends so that frees up a lot of time to spend with my beau.
Since both he and I are both in school still (he’s getting his master’s and I’m finishing up my bachelor’s) there isn’t this pressure that we have to see each other all the time as we both have responsibilities.
xx
Me.
My ombre hair looks really vibrant in this photo! x

now my life is sweet like cinnamon like a fucking dream I’m living in
Can anyone reccomend a good pink/nude lipstick?
I’ve been wanting one after I ran out of my MAC Slimshine Lipstick in Bare and found out it was discontinued.
Money’s not really an issue (obviously nothing horrendously expensive) but if you know a good drugstore brand that can compare to a high end one let me know! Or if you can’t live without a particular brand name one let me know as well! (:
Thanks! xx
I don’t know what’s the internet’s opinion on Lana Del Rey anymore but I just listened to her album to be honest I think it’s pretty decent.
It’s nothing amazingly impressive but it is different than what else is out there. However all of the Lolita references that Lana Del Rey makes, makes me feel like she’s never actually read Lolita. For the record Lolita is one of my favorite books ever but I don’t think there’s one person out there that would willingly want to be like or be Dolores Haze.
Additionally I felt like lyrically she was very repetitive (there’s only so many times I can hear you talk about red dresses, your boy being “the best”, Coney Island Queen, and trying to make witty slang catchphrases). Also lyrically I feel like a lot of it is really forced and trying really hard which makes it hard to take it seriously.
However I’m sure I’ll listen to the album for the next couple weeks.
What’s your opinion on Lana Del Rey?

The world is so beautiful, I hope one day to be able to see it all.

I’ve always wanted a bento box so I could make myself cute little lunches like this, but I realized that me actually ever having enough patience to do this every day is slim to none. Still ultra cute though!
I absolutely love these minimalist movie posters made by Adam Rabalais based on the Harry Potter movies. I just wish there was one of all seven (or eight) so I can get them all and hang them side by side!

Tim Walker is easily one of my favorite photographers.
