katvadams asked: So your post totally revived my interest in Lush. And, now that I have watched their promo video on their website, I am convinced they are one of the coolest companies ever. Out of curiosity, what products do you recommend?

Eep! I’m so glad my obsessions make other people obsessed!

Some of my favorite things right now that I would recommend are:

  • Dream Cream - Quite possibly the best lotion I’ve ever used. Soaks into my skin and makes it so so soft.
  • Angels on Bare Skin - I love being able to use a scrub everyday but usually they are too harsh, this one is perfect. Plus I love the smell, it’s like oatmeal and almondy.
  • Miranda Soap - Apparently Honey I Washed The Kids is their best seller but I love the fruity scent of this. I bought a big bar and cut it into smaller pieces.
  • Bubblegum Lip Scrub - So so so yummy! The greatest thing ever, it leaves my lips so soft and you can eat it!
  • Sunny Side - This is the only bubble bar that I’ve used so far but it has so much glitter on it that makes your bubbles all sparkly and pretty, it’s feels like I’m a mermaid or something!

I have a huge list of things I want as well.. haha It’s a sick addiction but an oh so good one! xx ^_^

girl, i spent like 3 hours looking at stuff from lush and wanting it all. i blame you! haha

Hahah I’m so sorry! But trust me get something, it’s totally worth it! xx

Also - the bath bombs are ginormous and can be easily broken to be used twice. AND, they always give you a sample of something with your purchase. :) Keep you coming back I guess!

Yes! I have Sunnyside and cut it into quarters. Haha they don’t need to give me samples as I’d totally sucker myself into going back. xx

sasuhsavannah asked: Is Lush on the expensive side? They recently just put a store in the mall I go to and I went past it and remembered you talking about it. Wasn't sure if I should go in or not ha.

It is a little pricey, but you have to remember you’re getting handmade and all natural products (most of which are vegetarian or organic). I haven’t had a bad experience with any of their products (yet) and also I’ve noticed that I’ve been able to get away with using a lot less of their products than I would with other similar products (as it’s more effective!). For example I bought Dream Cream almost a month ago and It’s only 8 oz but I’ve barely made a dent!

Same goes with a lot of the other products I’ve used. If you’re unsure ask for samples! They are so so nice there and will usually give you samples if you ask. ^_^ xx

Yesterday, I got the chance to go into the studio with The Early November to work on their upcoming DVD. The entire time was a blast. They’re all awesome and extremely talented people. Really excited to continue working with them.

Eric… seriously, I am so proud of you! This is so great!

Ironically I am listening to I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody’s Business right now. Ace Enders is awesome. ^_^

I love love love Etsy. It’s a sick obsession of mine! Here are a few things I’m longing for in my Etsy Favorites:
The Belle- Je T’aime Ruffle Bloom Shoe Clips in Red $32.00 from The Belle and The Beau. - Since I bought my red dress and my nude shoes I’ve been playing with the idea of getting some shoe clips to decorate my shoes. I love these red blooms, so gorgeous.
Bunting - Colourful Hand Drawn Necklace $26.00 from Rare Indeed - I have a love of bunting. I think it’s just so cute and happy!
Splash Dyed Hand Painted Scoop Neck Tee in Ocean $58.00 from Two String Jane - I saw a pair of pants on Pinterest that had splattered paint at the bottom of the legs and then were cuffed and fell absolutely in love with the idea and felt like I had to do it. This is similar, but in shirt form.
Little Bunny Ring $30.00 from Proteales - Rings are probably my favorite kind of jewelry (as I don’t have my ears pierced and with my job feel like I can’t wear too many bracelets). This little bunny ring is absolutely darling and would love it on my fingers.
Leather Confetti Pouch in Peach and Stone $33.58 from St. Anderswo - I would love this to carry around make up and other little things in my bags. It’s the most perfect color and I love the confetti touches.
Vintage Sun Dress $65.00 from Strawberry Koi - The perfect summer dress in my opinion, to wear out and about or over a bathing suit on the beach. The most beautiful thing ever.
The Piemaker $16.00 from Nan Lawson - I loved Pushing Daises, still do, this print of Ned is adorable I wish there was one of Charlotte so I could put them side by side!
Handmade Bamboo Brown Sunglasses $65.00 from Takemoto - Since I’ve lost my Ray Ban Wayfarers I’ve been incredibly bummed out. I love these wooden sunglasses though, sooo cool.

Anonymous asked: do you, by chance, have a lookbook account?

I actually don’t! -_-

I remember when I first heard of lookbook I desperately wanted an account, but it was invite only. Is is it still that way or has it opened up for everyone? x

I love it! ^_^

"A man told me: You are absolutely out of your tree. And I said: Yes and I'm awfully sad about it, it was really a very nice tree."

My name is Natalie, I live in Maryland. I’m itty bitty & I don’t take myself seriously. I work in an office, but it’s nothing like working in The Office.
